Drumagination Hi-Hat Circuitry Systems
I usually play with two TwinSteele drum pedals, and I got tired of losing the use of my hi-hat when my left foot went to the bass drum pedal. The drum forums are full of similar complaints. So I fixed the problem.
-No more fiddling with clutches or switches when you're trying to play.
-No more flipping the pedal over and stacking a phone book on it (actual solution on one of the eDrum forums).
-You get to choose the sound your pedal makes when your foot is off, from full open to full closed.
-Automatic functionality....set it once and forget it.

How it works...
When your foot is on the pedal:
The normal hi-hat circuitry is used. A second control circuit is present, but it is deactivated by a switch.
When your foot is off the pedal:
The pedal rises to the full up position, and trips the switch. The control current is now routed to the potentiometer on the side of the pedal.
